Connor Ragan’s Aglio e Olio Pasta
This is a pasta that’s really easy to make and requires few ingredients, so it’s been a favorite in college. Shamelessly stolen from the movie, Chef.
*Side commentary from Connor’s big cousins: While we were living off Kraft Easy Mac and microwavable popcorn in college, you’re making Aglio e Olio! Touché, Connor. We are VERY impressed!

Ingredients
- ½ Head garlic
- ½ Cup parsley
- ½ Cup olive oil
- 1 tsp Red pepper flakes (a little goes a long way)
- ½ lb Linguini
- ½ Lemon
Instructions
- Salt a pot of water, bring to a boil, and cook the linguini.
- Slice the garlic cloves thinly and heat the olive oil in a pan on medium heat. Add the garlic and let the edges of the slices turn brown. Add the red pepper flakes and turn the heat to medium low.
- Drain the pasta and add to the pan with the olive oil, red pepper flakes, and garlic.
- Squeeze lemon juice on top, mix in the chopped parsley.
- Salt and pepper to taste, then serve. I like a bit of parmesan cheese on top.
